When people first come into Twisted Sisters, they usually think they’re stopping in to browse for a dress, a gift, or something fun for their home. And yes, we absolutely want you to find those things. But over the years, something bigger happened too.

We’ve watched friendships form in the middle of the store. We’ve seen mothers bring daughters, daughters bring grandmothers, and girlfriends turn a quick stop downtown into a whole afternoon together. We’ve celebrated engagements, babies, birthdays, and fresh starts with so many of you.

Some customers have been shopping with us for years. Some walked in once while visiting Amelia Island and now stop by every single time they’re in town.

That’s the part that means the most to us.

Retail can sometimes feel transactional. In, out, next. But that’s never been what we wanted Twisted Sisters to feel like.

We want this space to feel welcoming, easy, and personal. A place where you can wander a little longer than you planned to. Where someone remembers your name, helps you find the perfect gift, or talks you into trying on the dress you weren’t sure about but end up loving.

The Sisterhood is really about connection.

Sometimes it’s about the clothes or fun finds. Sometimes it has nothing to do with them at all.
