For over 20 years, Twisted Sisters has been the “Fun Shop” of Fernandina Beach. It’s a place where women come to shop, laugh, and discover something special.
Around here, we believe the best stores feel a little like home and the people inside feel a lot like family.
Step inside Twisted Sisters and you’ll quickly see why so many locals and visitors make it a must-stop when they’re downtown.
We love creating a place where women can come in, take their time, laugh a little, and enjoy the experience of shopping (we even have a husband waiting room!). Whether you’re looking for the perfect outfit, a thoughtful gift, or just wandering in to see what’s new, there’s always something fun waiting to be discovered.
And if you stay long enough, chances are you’ll meet a few of the sisters along the way.
Our Story
Twisted Sisters was opened in 2004 by owner Kim Holwell, who dreamed of bringing a lively, market-style boutique to downtown Fernandina Beach. What started as a small shop has grown into a beloved local destination known for its personality, warmth, and ever-changing collection of unique finds.
Today the store spans more than 6,000 square feet and is filled with everything from stylish clothing and accessories to home décor, gifts, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
Over the years, Twisted Sisters has become known as the “Fun Shop” — a place where friends gather, visitors discover something new, and shopping feels more like spending time with family.
Recently, the next generation joined the journey when Kim’s daughter Taylor came on board after graduating from college. Having grown up around the shop, she now helps carry the Twisted Sisters spirit forward.
And if you visit the store, don’t be surprised if you spot Sister Girl, the shop kitty, who Kim jokes is the one truly running the place!
